From a point of view, Palpatine told Anakin the truth.
Ok at the end, it is obvious Anakin had been deceived by Palpatine with him thinking he could save Padame by turning to the dark side.
Palpatine then goes to say, "In your anger, you killed her!" which is a stark fallacy from what really happened during her birth. The robot stated that she lost her will to live. She died of a broken heart.
If one were to think about it, Palpatine could be telling the truth from one point of view. Padame died from a broken heart that was caused by Anakin turning evil. So with that being said, he is indirectly responsible for her losing her will to live.
Anyone agree or disagree? And why?
