that Padme did not really love Anakin but was just using the relationship to further her political career?

Padme didnt strike me as the type to scheme on that level (she put her life on the line to rescue obiwan in AOTC and confronted Anakin on Mustafar even after he turned to darkside in ROTS - if she truly she didnt care she surely would have dropped him at that point no?), plus she kept her and anni's relationship a secret from everyone for like 4 years.

She did live him. It's just a shame that their love came across as forced and insincere.

Since screwing a Jedi can't have been good for her career, I have to assume that she either really loved the dip, or he used Jedi mind powers to make her love him.

And no, secretly marrying a Jedi couldn't have been good for her career, it would make her look horribly dishonest and disrespectful. She might have gotten away with just getting pregnant by one, but the marriage involved breaking vows and a cover-up. That sort of thing doesn't go over big in societies that value honesty, laws, promises, and loyalty.

I agree 100% with otter. She truelly loved him ad it was very risky, no matter how you turn it.
