My favorite part of the movie

is when Anakin is making his decision to turn to the dark side while he's sitting in the Jedi Temple. The creepy slow music with the slow close ups of him and Padme can give me the chills while you hear the Emperors voice. I saw this at the midnight showing on opening night and the theater was so quiet and the great sound system in the room made it that much better. I know it sounds funny but I'll sometimes put the DVD in to just watch that part a few times with my volume turned up so loud that it shakes the room. I'm not a huge fan of the prequels, I like them I just don't love them like the original trilogy, but they are good in parts. I have to say episode III is 50% better then I & II. It's my personal opinion had Lucas decided to make these prequels earlier like the late 80s they would've turned out differently. He made these when he was in his 50s and your mind in your 50s is way different then in your 30s like he was with the original trilogy. But whats done is done and I sure am happy we're now getting more and more new Star Wars movies. I hope they keep making them for the next 40 years. I'm looking forward to the original trilogy being remade also one day down the road say about 2030 or 2040.

You mean the scene when Padme is watching through one window and Anakin through another on opposite sides of the city? If yes, then its my favorite scene too. I love the visuals, the creepy sound in this moment (we even hear Darth Vader breathing for a moment, a sign!) and the great acting without a single spoken word. Amazing

Me too, one of my favorite scenes in all the star wars movies.

this is the scene where the descent is inevitable, his inner realization that he can't live without Padmé thus acting on it, leading to his ultimate downfall.

Same, I think it might be my favorite SW scene ever, in any of the movies. That's not a comment on the movies as a whole, just this individual scene. It was really incredible.

FYI for anyone who may want to know, the song in that scene is called "Padme's Ruminations"

Yup I have the soundtrack and will listen to that song over and over some days. Lol
