I have just bought this film as I am a major fan of Bill Pullman and I want to know what others think of it! This is because I refuse to read reviews, so please just give a mark out of ten (0 being awful and 10 being brilliant) and a few comments! Nothing rude now! Thank you!

I never liked Bill Pullman. I am more of a Bill Paxton fan.
However, I really liked him in ZERO EFFECT.
Great movie. I like it as a cult movie.

Abortion is the death penalty that an evil society metes out to some for the crime of trying to be born.
This is one of my favorite films and as I watch it again and again, over the years, I enjoy it all over every time. I think Pullman is great, Stiller too, and Dickens terrific; the writing and directing are first class. (Anyone who thinks Bill Murray would have been better in the Zero role is crazy!) My thanks to Siskel & Ebert for recommending this film when it came out. I give it 10/10.

This film has grown on me over time.
The first two times I saw it I thought it was a bit long. Years later I really appreciate the film a lot more and picked up on a lot more nuances. Much more clever and fun than most of the Hollywood drivel. Pullman and Stiller play well off each other. Dickens is really good too.

I ask a lot of a movie to get a 10.
This was something I had never seen before. Completely original. Funny, interesting, engaging original characters.
Plus, I fell in love with Kim Dickens in this.
10 from me. Love it.
this is my favorite film of all time. It's smart, funny, unusual, dramatic and endearing. 10 out of 10.
