music: 'The Water is Wide'?

I swear I hear the end of "The Water is Wide" at a few points in the movie. One is after the purple starts to come off the tree and Chris (Robin Williams) yells "I love you!"

Anyone else notice this? The lyrics would certainly fit with the story of the movie.

Odd. I am watching the movie now and read your question just as the purple tree began to weep. "The Water is Wide" is the first song I learned to play on the guitar, too. I have to agree that the music at that point is certainly reminiscent of " The Water is Wide," but I don't think it is exactly the same.
