At the very end, when Annie is back in heaven, their dog bounds over to see her. She barely acknowledges it with a couple of pats and a "hi". I get that she had just been through a lot, but I couldn't imagine having such a cold reaction when reuniting with my four-legged friend (assuming I got to see it in the afterlife.)

for me, Annie had been awoken in heaven sooner than Chris (when they both left hell,) so she'd had time to suss out the whole "heaven is your own construction" concept, therefore seeing the dog is just a nice surprise.
