AMAZING cinematography
This movie looks amazing...the camera angles, lighting, camera pans, slow zooms, and color scheme all make this film look just AMAZING. I love looking at this movie, it is just so pretty to look at.
shareCarpenter is a great director and you can tell in all of his films, like them or not, that he has a great camera eye and knows how to find that shot / visual. His films have a certain look to them and you can usually spot his direction if you are not familiar with his work. Another thing he manages is he usually uses average actors and gets the best performance out of them because he knows how and what he wants in scene. He doesn't get to many offers these days because he hates studio interference and of course thats a big no no these days.
