Hard to say, as Curb Your Enthusiasm can be both appreciated and hated for various reasons. Seinfeld is objectively great, Curb Your Enthusiasm splits opinions - I don't always like it much due to all the yelling and cursing, but some episodes have a good story to them, and interesting interactions as well. I also like some of the beautiful locations and such.
This movie, however, is not as good as a 'good Curb Your Enthusiasm'-episode, it's definitely one of the worse ones.
It's based on one idea that can't carry a whole movie, and then suddenly some weird elements were added, like the hobo and the suit and the tumor or whatever, and it just becomes an agonizing mess.
The MAIN problem, in my opinion, is that the movie plods along so slowly and somewhat predictably, and the over-used musics become boring and irritating. The movie could've used some tightening, some better jokes, more clever twists, and better directing, I suppose.
It's like a below-mediocre TV episode stretched to an unnaturally long length, and as an audience, you feel it as heavy boredom, as the plot doesn't seem to really go anywhere.
Larry is many things, but his movies prove he's really not a movie-, or filmmaker.
