70s movies

I'm actually contemplating about writing a movie set in the 70's for this specific reason. It's an untapped era. Not completely but somewhat.

I assume you mean a movie...not made in the 1970s...that is set in the 1970s. Here are some:

- Dazed & Confused
- The Inkwell
- The 70's mini-series

Virgin Suicides (although it doesn't specify a year, it came out in 2000 and the intro says "25 years ago," which sets it in 1975)

Summer of Sam (nasty people) set in 1977 or 78

Sunset Strip

Boogie Nights

Dick with Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams! Great home decor and clothes!

It seems to me that you are asking for a film which takes place in the year 1970. If that's the case, should it be:

1. A revisionist movie made decades later that takes place in 1970.

2. Any modern movie (for 1970) that was made and released in 1970.
