Danson!

Bet nobody saw that cameo coming. When he walked on the set during filming, even Spielberg probably went "Woah, Danson's in this?"

reply

Why? The only decent thing he's ever done is Sam from Cheers. All his movies are crap!

Hey! You're not old enough to drink! Now go and die for your country!!!

@mikeyg24. For the most part I agree with you on Ted Danson's movies....with one exception. In Body Heat (1981) he played a very interesting, and somewhat quirky, assistant district attorney. Check it out if you haven't seen it. Mickey Rourke's scenes are scene stealers too!

He and Dennis Farina, in my opinion both reasonably competent actors, were about twenty or twenty-five years too old for their parts and looked it. Hanks was too old to be a Ranger captain as well, but I believe he looked young enough to get away with it.

reply

Danson and Farina were bad casting. They are too famous and stick out like sore thumbs.

Then on the other hand you had Captain Malcolm Reynolds....
