Was it me, or where those photos shown as a threat a little pornographic? I thought there was evidence of erections and penetration, especially in the photo they show for the longest amount of time. I know they were graining and black and white, but for an M rated movie (in Australia), that normally wouldn't be allowed.
Did anyone else notice this? Or am I mad?

I'm watching it now on a computer monitor (but at broadcast res), and
yes, those do appear to be real porno photo's from that era. If I
get a chance I'll go back and step through them, I was also intrigued
that this film is showing here in Canada with just a "mature" rating,
and then those explicit looking still appear.

I find it as bold move by the director, he can have implied that the photos contained evidence of homosexual intercourse, the blackmailer herself described what was in the photos, but still chose to show viewers the content of the photos.
They used surprisingly pornographic images that cannot be mistaken about - oral and anal sex. In the photos you see a bare butts without any censor. About male genitalia, you can see one but it's too dark, it's more like a shadow, in other photo you can see partly a balls of one of the participate.
That's about the most descriptive way I've ever described sex in movie 😂
