This might be a really stupid question, but in the opening credits of United We Stand, when Sir Lionel and the rest of the knights enter Camelot and we see a young Garrett, is he blind already?

Later on in the movie, Garrett tells Kayley how he knew her father because after he went blind Sir Lionel helped him to get by without his sight. And that would have had to've been before the opening credits because that's the day Sir Lionel was slain by Ruber.
We must be the change we wish to see.

hmm I thought he was not blind a that point, but maybe the way you've described it it was a plot hole

He looks like he's blind at that point. Even when I was five I could see that. I don't think it was a plot hole. Garrett became blind, Kayley's dad helped him learn how to function without sight, and then once he died, Garrett had no one on his side, so he left.
