the director SUCKED!!!

HOLY...CRAP did he suck! He had everything laid out for him and he ruined it. Some of the songs were on par with Disney but they were totally ruined by the directing. The best example is "The Prayer" which was slapped on top of an action scene when it should have been saved for a quiet moment. "Looking Through Your Eyes" is a gorgeous song that had slapstick comedy throughout it. Look at "Colors of the Wind" or "A Whole New World" to show how you match a beautiful song with beautiful imagery. This just has the characters wandering around while the stupid dragon is acting like a dope.

I mean...ugh..

At least the soundtrack was good.

It coud have been a so good movie, and I have no idea what they were thinking

Agreed that "The Prayer" was a completely epic fail! Though I've never liked the song in the first place, it's placement was completely misplaced. "Looking Through Your Eyes" is also a sappy and tedious ballad that also was ruined by the grating dragons.

The producers SUCKED.. They fired so many people while making this that it's a miracle it even exists.

Why was the bad guy like a B-movie heavy? So obviously crude and unsubtle. I hope more recent efforts have featured more interesting and nuanced villains.
