Love this movie but it so felt like a low budget movie. What did they spend the budget on?

probably the HOUSE they built from the ground up. Shell or not, that obviously would cost a chunk of money. Plus all of the specialized witch stuff they had to make... 3 major celebrities' salaries... all the crew's salaries... it all adds up

The talent. The budget went right into Bullock and Kidman's fee.

Pity they didn't spend a bit more on getting the story right.🐭

I agree with what spragueg1 and findyourwayinthedark said.

I'm sure most of it went to paying the actresses and for building the house sets (I was real disappointed to find out that house wasn't real; it looked lovely).

Don't forget all the HAIR EXTENSIONS...LOL. Sandra, Nicole, Stockard and Dianne all the the most overdone hair extensions that I've ever seen in a movie. LOL
