Most underrated movie...

I think this might be one of the most underrated movies of all time. This is my all time favorite movie. I believe it's excellent with it's symbolism regarding conformity. I also love the message that nothing is black and white. Not only are there grey areas in life, but there are all kinds of different colors of all different shades. This is truly a masterpiece, and I wish it was more valued.

Yeah, I'm in that same corner. I think a lot of viewers just see it as an entertaining fantasy without really identifying with the deeper underlying themes. I consider it a masterpiece.

Sometimes I think we're alone in the universe, and sometimes not.

For me its both things. A good fantasy but also a deep movie.

Totally agree. This is the kind of movie that should be shown in a school curriculum. You could write some awesome essays from its so many complex themes.

it's symbolism regarding conformity.

Yeah, it sure is. This film's symbolism strongly pushes the agenda that everyone must conform to the liberal nutjob ideology.

reply

No thats not what it says. I'm a conservative but i can understand the movie. The movie talks more about humanity than politics. It says you have to accept life and enjoy it for its unpredictability.

Also a favourite of mine.
