Telling the twins apart

The scene where Annie and Hallie are dressed alike and won't tell their parents who is who, I've always wondered why they just didn't get the dog to do it. He could clearly smell Hallie from across the hotel, and didn't seem to like Annie, he would have singled out Hallie in two seconds. Just a thought.

That's what I was thinking. I don't think their mother even knew about the dog, and it didn't seem like their father realized that Sammy didn't know/trust Annie (he was too "preoccupied" with Meredith). Cheesy seemed to be the only one who knew.

Since Cheesy was on the girls's side, I doubt she would have said anything, and the girls themselves obviously weren't going to, either.

One had a British accent and classy personality! Shouldn't have been that hard

reply

Yeah but they both had obviously practiced imitating each other's accents, and they didn't want to be discovered, so accents wouldn't have worked, in fact they both used the same accent when asked.

If they're twins how do we know that they weren't switched at birth and having lived a lie all along only to be corrected at summer camp? Oh, the humanity!

reply

Switched at birth or early on is very possible!

Here's a story where a mother of twins called police because she couldn't tell hers apart. She had to get them fingerprinted to compare their birth records.
