Im realizing how selfish and fuqed up the parents are lol. Okay so I saw this movie when I was 12 and fell in love with it and didn't think too much about the plot. But how selfish is that to seperate sisters at birth on purpose. Okay they were bi coastal but they should have worked harder to keep their kids together as much as possible. Id be pissed if I found out at 11 that I have a twin and another parent across the world. They aren't puppies, these were actual kids they separated lol

Furthermore, how can a parent (especially a mother) just take one twin and abandon the other? She gave birth to BOTH of them for crying out loud!!

In Sister Sister their birth parents gave them both up for adoption, the birth mother didn't keep one of them.

Yes! Both parents just went about their lives as if the other child never existed. How fuq'd up would that be to find out at 11 you have a twin and another parent on the other side of the world?. Disgusting. That's a deadbeat as far as Im concerned.

I was just watching it and I couldn't agree more. I guess as children, we don't really think about those things.

Funny you say this. I am now a 30 year old mother and I used to just loved this movie. Now that's I'm older, what kind of parents are these? How can any parent, especially a mother whole carries her children for 9 months just say yes ex husband take my other child and I'll never see them again... Are you effing nuts! Iyiyi

Lol Im 30 and a mom too. It is really abandonment to me. To just go on with your lives like your other kid didn't exist, and didn't even tell them they had a sibling. Imagine if that happened in real life. It would be pretty fuqd up, enough for me to not speak to my parents again for one abandoning me and for the other keeping it from me.

Well it's a unique situation both came from Money they had Twins so they each had there own Carbon Copy they could each claim.

It's not as far fetched as you may think, theirs people that have been best friends and find out years later they're siblings.

or even ickier they may be dating each other,

How many kids do you have, I'M 32 and enjoyed this movie, No kids as of yet haven't found the right lady yet! you still w/ the baby daddy.

if you don't want to answer the last part that's fine,

but the first half kinda contributes to your statement! Most Likely the Mother Probably left in the middle of the night or early in the morning after leaving a Dear John Letter, Told her what flight she was taking if he wanted to intervene I forget exactly the whole situation it's been a while, LOL What happened to the Grandfather LOL Did they "Dispose of Him?" They should have had him walk into the room afterwards and said something like "I called them" or "They called me" or he should have of been in the closing "Re-Marriage Scene" LOL
