There is deeep irony...

Deep, deeeep irony in Eddie Murphy's character saying "I'm doomed. And all 'cause Miss Man decided to take her little drag show on the road."

Pretty ballsy (pun intended) for Disney(!) and Murphy(!!) to say this considering Murphy's infamous getting caught with a transsexual in his car in '97. Or was his dialogue for his part recorded before that incident took place? If that's so, then it's such karmic prescience. Eerier yet, is that trans woman was dead within a year later, claimed by some dicey media, under 'mysterious' circumstances as they tried to link Murphy to it.
Murphy was sued for 1.2 million in '14 by a transgendered woman who claimed their affair went south and he made certain promises.

Lastly, here's a true story of my own. I live in NYC. When I worked in a spot in NYC in the late '80's, I took car service (yellow cabs were rare in that area) often on my occasional late night shifts home. Sometimes, I'd engage in small talk with a garrulous, friendly cabbie. One question I sometimes asked, if ever they drove anyone famous. On a ride home, a cabbie told me that when he was a yellow cab driver in Manhattan he took Murphy, Arsenio Hall and 1 or 2 unknowns (I forget that part) to a popular transvestite bar or club. This was way before his sex scandal in '97. When the scandal broke, I knew that the cabbie had been telling the truth.

That is some creepy irony.

If Bon Scott of AC/DC was still alive, he would be a Brony.
