Am I the only one pissed at how his character ended up? When I saw him I got excited, because I'm a huge fan, but then his character was dead within two minutes and didn't even get one line of dialog. What's the point in casting him if the character is nothing more than an extra?

He's the driver of the Ford SUV that picks Lindsey Ginter's character up at the house after the hit, and is seen driving it during the chase with the ambulance on the freeway. Later, he boards the train to get the kid.

Peter Stormare had an incredibly good (and important) part in the TV series "Prison Break". As I've watched "Prison Break" 2 or 3 years ago first and just recently discovered"Mercury Rising", I recognized him at once. Yes, it's a pity that he had such a short role!
