I think Monica looks so much like Julia Roberts that they could be sisters. But Monica is much, much prettier and has a much more attractive smile..But when Julia has her mouth closed (rare), the resemblance is so strong.
shareGinala, I noticed that too-and you're right it's not often Julia has her mouth closed,lol.I know it's mean to say, but Julia's mouth/smile sometimes reminds me of a horse! She's pretty and all, but i.m.o. it's all teeth.. Monica's eye expressions are very similar with Julia's. Especially during scenes where she is confused or upset(the ones that really stood out to me was when she was talking with Frank in the park,when they were sharing the bottle of booze, and when she was driving through London with Laurence after the airport chaos).

shareFINALLY!!! I have thought this since I first saw her in this movie 8 years ago! After I saw her again in Head Over Heels, I realized that she even sounds like her a little. The resemblance in both looks and sound are remarkable. I'm SO happy other people see it too. I guess the only difference is I think Monica's beautiful and talented.

yeah they share a very similar look, I actually went and check a few times who was the actress.
They are both very pretty however, Julia Roberts isnt that young anymore but i still think her smile is just as lovely.

I saw this movie for the first time tonight on Netflix Instant and I kept thinking through out the whole movie, Wow this girl is the blonde Julia Roberts. Her looks and her voice and mannerisms! I wonder how she feels about that--Potter that is. Because who wants to be known as the Julia Roberts look/sound alike? I mean it could be considered a compliment(or maybe not) but you would probably prefer to be seen as yourself and appreciated for what you bring to the table as an actor/actress.
shareDitto, glad someone else saw the resemblance. She has a pretty mouth, where as Julia's is truly not the attractive. That has nothing to do with acting. I first noticed the voice similarities. I just saw the movie, and didn't realize she had done TV series.
