I know the obvious is Laurence, but i have to say that Frank (not in this) is gorgeous and when he says to Daniel "you fu**ing pay for it" i did nearly wet myself.
If Daniel was just a tad taller i think it would be him, he's soooo funny "English actually."
oooh, Laurence all the way. the other two seem to be stuck in grade 3. Frank is a little too...intense...(i hereby decree that to be the new spelling of that word if it isn't right) while Daniel is a little to sleazy/cheesy. i don't know if those two are mutually exclusive - but oh well.
Frank for looks,Daniel for money, and Laurence for his sweetness. But most likely Frank, he's the funniest, I loved his sense of humour when Martha and him were sitting in the park, and the rain started coming down on everyone. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd say Frank, but then it'd be glaringly obviously that I am being terribly biased because I am a Rufus Sewell fan. But honestly, I quite liked Frank... he has this strange, brazen type of humour that is quite appealing, but I guess in the long run the chain-smoking, drinking and comments would get to me.
Frank would be lovely short-term, but if I have to stay with the guy forever then Laurence.
yea i would be friends with frank. he would be the kind of guy you could just hang out with and really be mean about other people with and he would just laugh and join in. but lawrence is like the perfect man.
If it were me in the movie, I would go for Frank. Daniel's too ego-centric and Laurence came off as a little less than bright when he doesn't recognise that Ray Winstone is really a construction worker. Frank has, albeit unchanneled, zest for life.
I love the restaurant scenes when Frank gets into it with Daniel and the London to Amsterdam sex dialogue is histerical.
Frank reminds me of my ex boyfriend, he had the looks and yes! the chain-smoking, drinking and comments did get to me. (actually wondered if Frank was based on my ex Damian) Obviously Rufus is much better looking than Damian !! Lawrence was to nice, Daniel to slimy/sleezy/cheesy etc.
"You can't tell the heart, the heart hopes even when it's hopeless"
the "English actually" bit wasn't meant to be funny...and I only learned that after moving to the UK. When you ask them if They're British, they get insulted. British means that they weren't from England generations back. In other words, all white's in the UK would say they're English and all minorities with a UK passport would say they are British. I hate it. It's with the English have always been doing to everyone around the world. They need to get over themselves and realize they are not the best human race in the world.
