Why did they leave the money and the weed in THEIR *beep* FLAT WHILE THE BAD GUYS THEY STOLE IT FROM WERE THEIR NEIGHBOURS? I mean there had to be another place to hide it? Right?

Alright that makes sense, either way they weren't the smartest guys around so it makes sense that they didnt thought the whole thing out

Ed does say that it would be the last place they would think of checking, and he was right it was only through bad luck that plank got threw into the wall, personally I would have thought about getting rid of the recording equipment, but without it the movie would have been pretty simple and not at all entertaing had that been the case
