Why do Harry doesn't ripp them completly oft?

When Harry get the 500k from Big Chris why did he close the deal with Eddy ?

reply

I suppose that, even though he cheated at the card game in the first place, he believes that there is some honour amongst thieves. Also, maybe he was a little impressed that they managed to get the money in such a short amount of time when he knew that there was close to no-chance that they would.

He probably preferred the money over getting JD's bar as the cash is there and ready to be spent/invested, whilst running or selling a bar is a bit more long-winded and a pain the backside.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way

Probably because it's very unlikely they'd be able to come up with 500k in a week again. Asking for more money would probably be pointless unless it's just out of spite. Not to mention, he was probably pleasantly surprised that they retrieved his shotguns for him.

Well, if you push people too far, make them think there's no way out, oftentimes they decide it's better to go out fighting. That's a great way to get yourself killed.

In in fact, it did happen. Harry's thug pushed the guys he hired to burgle the shotguns so far they were willing to kill to get them back.

Harry had got his money back and I don't think he wanted to burn all his bridges, figuring he might be able to use/exploit Eddy and the gang in the future.🐭
