Love this film but there's one thing that has always bothered me:

When Plank and his cronies are attempting to rob the hippie drug dealers, why wouldn't they have rang Rory Breaker?

They were growing and selling weed on his behalf and it was his money that would be stolen, also, they knew he was a "lunatic" with obvious connections so WHY wouldn't they have called him and gotten him to send his heavies round to sort out the thieves, rather than open the gate?

Well, not really...

In the final scene, everyone has one.
Besides, they were home and they could have called Rory at home too.

This movie is really good, but it has a lot of plot maneuvers to keep it going.

I kind of felt there was a degree or two of seperation between them.

That's a good point. They could have called up Rory really quickly and gotten his black c_nts over there to sort the white c_nts out. In reality, I'd expect they'd have some kind of protocol for defense like that. If Rory really cared about his business, he'd probably have some kind of crew on standby for that kind of thing. Then again, maybe the weed growers were just scared and couldn't think rationally at that point, since they weren't used to violent or threatening situations, hence the air rifle (he shot me! well shoot him back! can everybody stop gettin shot?!)

I'm pretty sure it was because they had already shot one of the hippies upon entering and were going to kill him. Dog walked in and it got hot fast. There may have been a moment or two when one of them could have made tha call but when their friends life was in danger, i think their instinct was to stop him from getting shot again. Not protecting weed.

Don't know if they had time to phone him or access to a phone at that time. What I don't get is why Plank and his crew were retarded enough to believe that they could just rob those guys and not expect a reaction. Did he really think that they were at the top of the operation and not working for higher ups? Lmao.

Actually, I find it completely believable that a bunch of pussies could have an operation like that. Seen it myself with me own two eyes.

Probably because the audience wasn't meant to know it was breakers weed and cash until he actually bought his own stuff back.
