The girl's song

Does anyone know what's the name of the song that he played while looking at the girl and the one that was being recorded. Is it an original? Who composed it and how and where can I get it?

I cried buckets during that one and at the end someone in the film said that people will cry when they hear it, so I felt a little less foolish.

Must be an awesome task to compose a tune, if the dialogue says in the script that people will cry when they hear it. Now all the poor composer has to do, is come up with not just something beautiful, but also something that is guaranteed to make people cry.

All the awards for the score were well justified and deserve more!

The song is called 'Playing love', and it's an original, yes, composed by the master, Ennio Morricone. There are two songs called 'Playing love' on the official soundtrack, you need the second one, track 16. I don't know if you can still purchase the soundtrack online, it may be hard to find. Lucky for me, I already have a copy. The soundtrack as a whole is well worth the price, you will not regret it.

EDIT: Amazon.com still has it, for $14,99. I'm telling you again, you won't regret it if you buy it, it has many other excellent songs besides Playing Love.

I just purchased the sound track from amazon and it's great. I was really disappointed that the sound track did not include the song from the "moving piano".

other than best buy, i'm not sure. Independent films that don't get hollywood advertising budgets remain a hidden gem.

I got mine at Borders Books. I'm also trying to find the soundtrack, but they told me it wasn't in stock. I went to this specialty music store called Zalzers and they didn't have the soundtrack. THE SOUNDTRACK IS THE HARDEST TO FIND!

I love the scene when 1900 watches the girl on the ship. I cry everytime I see it. It just moves me so much I can't help but cry. I'm glad I'm not the only one!
