I do not care for music at all, yet......

This movie was VERY good! The movie was at the library, and as there was nothing else to take out I grabbed this movie. Several days later I saw it was rated R and neary gave up on it just because I was expecting a lightly contented PG. This movie startled me so thoroughly and the unspoken love that 1900 had for the female was something I had not felt watching movies for a long while. Unless I am wrong, most movies would certainly have had that couple having sex within 20 screen minutes of meeting. I dont know, that is only one aspect of the film I appreciated. Overall I just felt very refreshed seeing this movie... nearly unspeakable why. I know and care very little about music, yet that did not bother me at all.

Great film. 8/10 certainly.
