Does Tim Roth really played the piano?

The piano that Tim Roth played in this movie was unbelievable!
I wonder if he really played the piano himself or it was the cinematography and special effects?
Anyone has any information from his background and if he also played piano in any of those more than 60 movies he acted?

He played silent night in this one and I think that was it. If he played piano in any of the other movies I've seen him in they didn't have him listed in the soundtrack or they didn't have a soundtrack. But he does have a lot of piano playing characters (stretch from Gridlock'd, Milan from the perfect husband, 1900 from legend of 1900) Maybe it's just a fascination??? Sorry I didn't have more information.

I read somewhere that he trained for six months to mime the piano playing believably, but I haven't found any more information than that yet, so I don't know how accurate that is...

No way. If he could play that well we'd have heard about it, because the piano playing in this movie is absolutely insane. It's entirely possible that he played some of the slower/easier parts/pieces but definitely not all of it. That said, he did an excellent job miming it and making it believable.

Edit:
Ah I see someone had a real answer. :)
