Answered my own question:
"Italy released, PAL/Region 2 DVD: it WILL NOT play on standard US DVD player. You need multi-region PAL/NTSC DVD player to view it in USA/Canada"
A shame. I'd love to see whatever unused footage is included on this release.
But any computer-DVD-player will play ANY region. So you can watch it on your computer. Or! Play it on your computer and use wires to project the computer-screen-image to your widescreen tv! ;)
