slacks a bit at the end couldve been 20 minutes longer but solid film

I disagree a little. I find this one to be a little boring, so I'm not sure that adding 20 minutes would improve it. I do think that it's one of the best sequels, but there is just something about it that has never really grabbed me.

For the 7th movie in a franchise, its pretty good all things considered. Myers doesn't look overly intimidating with that mask, but its an enjoyable movie. Halloween, Halloween 2, Halloween 4, then H20.

I do agree with your rankings. I don't think it's a bad film, I just don't think that adding 20 minutes to it would improve it.

I thought it was the best of the sequels, really (even though I think there shouldn't have been any sequels) and I've seen all of the Halloween movies in the theater going all the way back to the original in 1978.
