Seriously under-rated

I honestly believe this is the best in the series bar the original.

Great acting throughout and real suspense.

Pity they completely *beep* it up with the follow-up (Resurrection).

It would have made a great end to the franchise.

Retarded imdb score probably rated by braindead people, but real halloween fans love this movie and it's definitely not underrated within those circles.

First, don't go speaking as to who true fans are. You are horribly underqualified to assess that. Second, there's a lot of reasons to not like this movie. Chris Durand as Michael sucked. The masks including the CGI one sucked. The score was basically a cover of Marco Beltrami and Scream. The whole movie had a Scream feel to it when it should've had a Halloween feel.

So there's that. Most of the acting was awful outside of Curtis, Stephens and Leigh. The story was decent, just poorly executed. 17? No need for the age angle. Who should've been the focus, John and teens or Laurie? Sure it had it's moments, but it could've been a whole lot better.

I agree. This is my favorite besides the original. Jamie Lee Curtis gives another incredible performance. I've never seen Resurrection and I never will. This is the end of the series to me.
