If they wanted to show something as a tribute to Lynn Redgrave, they probably could have found something in which she had the main rôle... I wonder if they were like: "Oh, we've got the rights to Gods & Monsters - let's just bung that on..." However, putting that to one side, I was very glad to get another chance to watch this lovely, melancholy film... Ian McKellen and Lynn Redgrave are fab and Brendan Fraser really should do less of the comedy / action and more drama stuff, as his "serious" performances are always wonderful.

As always the case, if they wish to put a film on as a tribute they need to have the rights for it.

This film was a BBC co-production and Lynn was Oscar nominated for the role.

Its that man again!!
