The actor who plays Diego Rivera, Alfred Molina, I thought I had seen his face before... but where?

Oh no, he's the mexican who steals the idol from Indiana Jones at the beginning of "Raiders of the Lost Ark"!!!! "Give me the whip! -Adios, Senor."

That was quite a revelation to me!

Especially when I looked him up in imdb and saw he was also the bad guy (or one of them) in Spiderman 2. Why didn't he look familiar then, but did here? Beats me.

i think he didnt look familiar to you because hes SUCH a great actor! hes like a chameleon. he looks different every time i see him, i can tell you that.

do you remember him in "identity"?

"maverick"?

did you see "Chocolat" where he plays the Comte de Reynaud (or however you spell it)? if not, you should!

Indiana Jones Movie at the begining is on Peru, he steals an Idol from Peru, not even far from Mexico, but what would you know?
