I just watched it (again) on television. I don't understand what's wrong with the bad reviews.

It's a fun movie, with great special effects and a typical superhero story. Ben vs John are a good laugh. And there are other jokes here and there. Jessica Alba is super hot. Maybe Mr.Fantastic wasn't so fantastic, but he played the role. Unless it has something to do about not being 100% faithful to the comics. But I can't care less. I judge a movie for what it is, not for something written somewhere else.

As far as being faithful to the comics goes, it's not that bad. The Fantastic Four go to space, get hit by the cosmic storm, gain powers, bond as a family, and do great deeds. That is how it should be.

I like that there's plenty of time spent on the family relationships developing, and I like that the comedy serves that.

It wasn't awful but, I don't know, I did find it kind of...boring.

Maybe because it was more of a comedy than an action film and I kind of expect superhero blockbusters to be the opposite...
