How are all the haters feeling NOW after the reboot sucked and tanked?!!

Come on people, admit it, this movie is way better than the reboot.

It's not meant to be Nolan type serious, and it wasn't Schumacher embarrassing either (heck even those were entertaining).

Oh, and it had actors who LOOKED and ACTED the parts.

I could've done without Jessica Alba though...

reply

Jessica Alba was the only miscast although I thought she looked both hot and adorable

This sucked more than the reboot in my opinion

Yet it did more money, and got its sequel.

2 points the reboot will never get (its sequel will NEVER be made after this)

Umm...sure it's better than the reboot. But you do realize just because it's better than a terrible film it doesn't suddenly became good? Batman Forever was better than Batman & Robin, doesn't mean it's a good film either.

reply

I don't think Batman Forever was that bad of a movie IMO its a high 6 or very low 7. Yeah Batman and Robin is bad but at least you can laugh at how bad it is

IMO neither This or Rise of the Silver Surfer are terrible films

Sorry, but they both sucked in their own ways. I also don't care about box office results, that's not how I judge my movies. Horrible Bosses 2 was a commercial success, but I still hate that movie.

I haven't seen the reboot but I love the ones directed by Tim Story.

The 2 Tim Story Fantastic Four movies were poorly executed. But they both were far closer to the tone of the comics. And Except for Doom. It was far closer to the comics as well. The casting was far better. And unlike the 2015 reboot. It was actually entertaining. Even if it wasn't great. The 2015 took a silly concept like the Fantastic Four and treated it far too seriously. To the point that it was laughable.
