original and sequel should have been one story

I guess I'm in the extreme nerd minority in that Tim Story's 2 FF movies are my favorite marvel superhero films.
So freakin sue me. I like that they're loose and fun, like the FF comics I read as a kid.

I think of them as one big 2-part film. And i think thats how they should have been produced--as one movie.

The one criticism folks have of FF1 I agree with is that its all buildup and there's no big climax. The first film and Surfer could be edited into one film superior to each original.

The first movie's story could be condensed a bit and the Surfer threat would lead to the big climax.

If I was a bigger, more obsessed nerd with a lot of time on his hands I'd do it myself.
