Smith says Dogma 2 is currently in the works.
It’s been 25 years and Smiths output has been of questionable quality. Is there an audience for this?

Did you see Tusk? That was decent, but you're right Kevin Smith's output is questionable at best.
Dogma was my favorite film of his back in the day and I'm sad to see this. After demolishing the prestige of his universe with Clerks 3 and the even worse Jay and Silent Bob sequel, I don't know who's left looking forward to a Kevin Smith movie when his reputation had already been in the decline before those two failures because of the perception his films didn't age well.
On top of all that, who wants to look at Jay's drug scarred face and a skinny Silent Bob? It's not the same anymore.
YUP...HIS AUDIENCE...WHICH IS MUCH SMALLER THAN IT ONCE WAS...BUT IT IS STILL THERE...HE IS A WEIRDO BUT HE KNOWS IF HE KEEPS THE BUDGET LOW ENOUGH AND CALLS IN ENOUGH FAVORS...THE FILM WILL MAKE PROFIT.
