Hollywood Liberals Wouldn't Dare Attack Islam and Muhammed!

They're scared.

cry more, your tears are delicious.

reply

No one is crying; just observing. You seem to be seeing something that isn't actually there.

reply

Why should they since nothing was "attacked" in this film. Sensitive religious zealots are hilarious.

reply

I'm a staunch atheist so your observation (while expected) is also hilarious.

reply

I wouldn't take that as a compliment.

Your claim is basically a testament of how irrational and violent they are. Hollywood can 'attack' Christianity and whatever because they are reasonable people and won't cut peoples heads off for the slightest offense. You are basically bragging that Muslims will. Its not a good thing.

reply

It's not bragging as much as it is an observation.

reply

Kevin Smith isnt a hollywood guy. Or rather, he wasnt in 1999. Maybe afterwards.

No market for Islam comedies. Muslims are a minority in this country & they've shown many a time they don't like fun being poked at their religion & good God fearing Christians aren't gonna go watch a comedy about a bunch of terrorists. It's gotta make dollars & cents for Hollywood to make something... Or the backers of a stupid movie concept need to be really high on drugs, which happens quite a bit given the crap we've seen made.

i cant wait until i see a dogma version of islam...... it will be banished from public view but in X ammount of years it will be a classic....

What about Bill Maher's film, Religulous?

reply

That is a true piece of crap.

reply

Because they can't take a joke. four lions is a comedy about muslim suicide bombers but doesn't really attack Islam, I don't remember any trouble happening when that came out.

reply

As somebody else pointed out, check out Bill Maher's film "Religulous" and then decide if you're still right.

And besides which... Kevin Smith was raised Catholic. Makes sense that he'd take aim at his own faith, rather than at one he's never been a part of.
