was wondering what accent she had.. is it welsh? I know Mr and Mrs Tweedy are supposed 2 have a farmhand Yorkshire accent as does bunty, Ginger has a public school accent more or less, MAc of course has a highland accent but what accent does babs have...

It's Jane Horrocks' own accent, which is East Lancashire, just over the border from Yorkshire.
