Happy 10 anniversary for Pixar's Second Film!

A couple weeks late for saying it, but felt like I had to include a topic mentioning that this movie already turned 10 years old. I can still remenber seeing it in theaters back in November 1998!

I never considered it a great movie at first, but after seeing it so many times in the past I do see it as a good worksmanship on animation.

It's one of those movies where it seemed ok the first time but way better after seeing it the fifth time. Maybe it was cause as a kid I disliked seeing Flick having too much karma throughout the film, but I later realized that that story would of turn out entirely different if they took that element away. And right now I'm glad the movie is the same as it was a decade ago.

May not be as highly watched as Toy Story, but i gotta admit it has so many great moments.

I think it's excellent. I hadn't seen it for years until I bought the DVD and watched it tonight. I was stunned to see some of the incredible feats of animation that I seemed to have forgotten since last time. To think that it's 10 years old now is amazing!

Personally, I have a policy of giving most films at least two viewings if I can - except the really bad ones. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be watching this one a few times more in the future. :)

I just rewatched this film on the new Blu-ray and I still enjoyed it. I can see why I sort of forgot about the film, though. There are definitely way too many characters that just do not get the proper amount of screen time. It's almost like they made the movie for kids (go figure....and yes, that was sarcasm).

But, still, this movie had a good lesson about overcoming fears and accepting others. It's not the better of the Pixar films, but definitely worth it for any serious collector of animated classics.
