Did Hopper have a glass eye?

Is it just me, or did Hopper appear to have a glass eye? I'd guess that, if he did, it would have had something to do with the story about a bird attack that Molt was trying to tell the ants during an early scene. I guess it could have just been a normal eye that was damaged, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure he was blind in that eye.

There is a Simpson's quote for every situation in life.

Yeah, I concur. It would be pretty hard to make a glass eye that size anyways.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

You may have noticed he had a scar on his face above and below that eye (probably from the mentioned bird attack). Human eyes can get this kind of cloudy look after injury (I think it's because of scar tissue on the cornea?). So that would be why.

So probably just scar tissue then. Okay. And yeah, I know that it's unlikely for a bug to get a glass eye, but consider the world of the movie itself.
