I agree, Cars was the worst (I didn't even like it a little). A Bug's Life is my fav, right up there with The Incredibles and Finding Nemo.
I doubt I can ever watch Toy Story or it's sequel ever again.

uhh..I think the OP is on Acid...This one one of my BEST pixar movies!!

CARS was deinitely the worse one and maybe Monsters Inc..

It funny how people's tastes are so different. There is one of these "This is the worst Pixar movie" threads on every single Pixar movie message board.

And I'd totally disagree with you. Cars is my favorite, followed closely by Monsters. This is near the bottom, if not the bottom for me. Oh well.

This is my favourite Pixar movie along with Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc.

Randy Giles?! Why not just call me Horny Giles or Desperate For A Shag Giles?! - Spike

This film is really funny, and I enjoyed it a lot. It isn't as god a sToy Story, but it is definitely better than Cars.

Well, I thought this movie was amazing because of its plot. My opinion might vary from other people's opinions, but I just think this movie was amazing! I was just a young kid when I watched it.

The worst is easily Cars. It's nowhere near as exciting as A Bug's Life or Nemo or the Toy Story's or Monster's Inc.

Yeah, this movie may be Seven Samurai with bugs, but there's much more to it than that. It very enjoyable all the way through and there's a constant sense of danger, which is mysteriously absent from Cars.

I don't know why more people don't like this movie. It's great.

I think this is Pixar's worst--but that's not saying much. I still give it 8/10.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

Are u Serious? you apparently did not see Cars

I don't think its terrible, but its my least favorite Pixar movie

I don't rank Pixar movies. I don't see the point of it. They are all enjoyable in their own way, so why bother ranking them? I certainly don't have an order of favorite to least; in fact, I don't even have a favorite film. I like all of them. I judge them by which one I want to see at a particular moment. One day, I might look through my Pixar films and want to see one movie, but another day I might be interested in watching something else. The first time I saw Cars, I wasn't particular enamored with the film, but I still liked it. After having seen it many times since, I absolutely love it. I enjoy the film so much that it literally irritates me when I see statements declaring Cars as the worse, as if it is fact. Well, I really enjoyed it and others do as well. What right do those who dislike Cars have telling those who do like it that it is so bad?

Pixar has yet to make a bad movie. I like everyone of them. Don't bother asking me my favorite, and don't bother trying to sell me a "worst Pixar movie," because I don't see it that way. Everyone of these films have strengths and redeeming qualities that makes them all good in their own way. I think a lot of people don't like Cars because it is too slow and not very fun compared to previous entries. I appreciate that the film's pace is consistent with its message: that we need to slow down and enjoy the view. Others might consider it too sentimental, but I don't see this as a flaw. Pixar paced this film exactly how it needed to go based on the story. Some appreciate this and enjoy it for what it is. Others . . . don't.

A Bug's Life's brilliance is revealed in its climax alone, in my opinion. The scene where Flik stands up to Hopper and the ants all unite is enough to praise the film. It gives me chills. Why? Because of the message. The film promotes individuality, creativity, and independent thinking. It shows how one person can make a difference. That is why I love the character of Flik. He has a lot of creative ideas that many mock, but in the end, the colony embraces his thinking. The fact that the many other ants all knew Flik on reputation is impressive, since there are so many ants, so standing out is so hard to do. Even as an adult, I appreciate how this film encourages creativity and individuality, while also emphasizing the importance of community. It is a very deep theme wrapped in a kid-friendly package. It's hard not to like it, for that reason alone. It is uplifting for children and adults!

To BrokenDreamer:

But it doesn't promote individuality, creativity and independent thinking. Sure it all works out for Flik in the end but why did it have to go that far? I mean, from the beginning this guy was being creative and making things that worked and were smartly built. And the rest of the ants hated him. They hated him for being an individual and whatnot.

Well, perhaps hate is a strong word but there was a strong dislike for him for sure. No one is nice to him until he forces all of them to stop being so ridiculous and realize how stupid their fear of the grasshoppers is. I didn't hate the movie but this is a major problem for me--which annoys me because aside from that it's a great movie.

These strange things happen all the time...

I have a very hard time choosing between Toy Story 2, A Bug's Life and Ratatouille for first place among the Pixar movies. My worst definitely go to Cars though, although it's still superior amongst the...usual animated movies. Pixar is simply the best!

reply

A Bug's Life is no *beep* way the worst Pixar movie. I'm agree with the guy who said the OP must have been on an acid trip when he posted that. A Bug's Life is a lot better than Cars. Actually this movie is one of my fav Pixar films.

Cars is the worst Pixar movie.
