Monsters Inc.(the best, its so witty and it's great for all age groups) Ratatouile(I'm serious, I really think this is the second best one, I like the fact that it's animated but it's not really for kids, the story is something different, and it has a deep, uplifting and mildly touching message about being an outcast, going against the odds and believing in yourself) Finding Nemo(cute and slightly touching AND it's a lot more dramatic and intense than all the other ones) A Bug's Life(I like it, but it's not really anything special) Toy Story(serious, true it's the first one and it was pretty significant in the history of films as being the first one completely in CGI, but it just isn't that great, its slow. and boring. and it's not really touching at all, unlike the ones I listed before this one) Toy Story 2(Same as the first one. Except it's worse.) The Incredibles(the worst one of all. so mediocre. it really isn't anything special at all. I dont' see what the big deal about it is)
I didn't put down Cars because I haven't seen it, and it looks amazingly mediocre anyway.
1 Cars 2 A Bug's Life 3 Ratatouille 4 Finding Nemo 5 Toy Story 6 Toy Story 2 7 Monsters Inc (I dislike both Billy Crystal and John Goodman, without them I'm sure I would have liked it a lot more)
Ratatouille - Easily their best yet. Finding Nemo - A close second, a force to be reckonded with. A Bug's Life - Such a fantastic film. Monsters, Inc. - I LOVE that movie. The Incredibles - Really witty and clever Toy Story 2 - One of the few sequels to be as good as, or better than the first. Toy Story - A wonderfully enjoyable movie. Cars - Their worst film, but *still* awesome.
I'll have to see Wall•E too. I have a feeling it just might take Ratatouille's spot.
Toy Story 2 The Incredibles Bugs Life/ Monsters Inc. Closely followed by toy story. Finding Nemo Wall-E Cars(dumb) Ratatouille(Why was this movie made)
1. Wall E 2. Finding Nemo 3. Monsters, Inc 4. The Incredibles 5. Ratatouille 6. Toy Story 2 7. Toy Story 8. Cars 9. A Bugs Life
I'm not sure whether I like Toy Story or Toy story 2 better... I haven't seen them in a while, but I remember thinking it was the first sequel that I liked better than the original.
A Bug's Life: I just recently found new love for this movie. I love the acting, I love the fascist like story to it. I love of the hope and rebellion and being put down about ideas. Kevin Spacey is amazing, I love Hemlich, I love the relationships. It kind of gets me emotional lol.
Toy Story 2: I adore this movie, I love how true it is. It's really sad coming from a perspective of a lifeless object! Quite heart breaking, but again the humor is awesome! The motives are very true and emotional.
Toy Story: Classic, to this day I still crack up when Woody goes off on Buzz telling him, he's just a "play thing". I love it for being the first movie from pixar, it's very well done.
Wall-E: Beautiful movie, I love that a good portion of the movie is just images, little to no dialogue. That's good story telling to me. I have a belief that a good actor and writer is when an audience can develop feelings or feel attach to out of worldly characters.
Finding Nemo: This is a cute movie, very funny. The story of a father going across the seas to find his only surviving son. It's very touching, and it's very admirable, yes it's just a movie, but fiction are always base on some truth.
Cars: I actually like this movie, from some reason when Pixar does an idea that's been done before it somehow feels fresh. With just the characterization of vanity of the main character, it feels fresh to me and interesting. I find it funny at times, but haven't seen it enough times to say more. Although it did leave a good impression on me.
Monster's Inc.: From this point, I don't really care much for the other films. Monster's Inc. is enjoyable from what I remember, but I can't say much because it never stood out to me and didn't leave much of an impression on me after seeing it.
Rataouille: This is always forgettable to me which I never know why. I enjoyed it, but it doesn't stand out to me. I love the view and atmosphere of Paris, but nothing stood out to me. The story is decent, characters are alright. It's just eh.
The Incredibles: I actually do not care for this movie at all. I didn't find it all that funny and when I did it was Jason Lee's fault. It feels so out of place to me, because what I love about Pixar was there ability to tell stories from unlikely creatures or objects. Then they stepped backwards, telling a story of super humans? Eh, it just really bothered me and I just couldn't get into. Didn't like the style or humor.
1. Finding Nemo: I could watch this movie over and over and over and over again. It's SO clever and so touching, plus the visuals are just brilliant. By far and away my favorite Pixar movie.
2. A Bug's Life: I didn't like this movie that much until pretty recently, when I watched it again after years of forgetting it existed. Hopper is the best Pixar villain in my opinion, and Flik is such an endearing protagonist. Also, the script is HILARIOUS! One witty remark right after another. Every time I watch this movie I like it more.
3. Up: This might be left-over infatuation from when I first saw it in theaters, but I can't get over how beautiful this movie is! It is, in my opinion, the most mature story-telling Pixar has tackled to date. And how can I not love a movie that reduced me to a blubbering mess in the first 15 minutes?
4. The Incredibles: This is a different kind of Pixar movie, and I can see why some people here don't like it as much. But I'd say it's maturity and "lack" of humor is a good thing; it's a very adult movie. I also just love the atmosphere and it's almost-parody of old superhero and spy movies.
5. WALL-E: Visually stunning and very insightful. In my opinion, the film kind of lags in it's second half, but the great first half makes up for it.
6. Toy Story 2: One of the best sequels ever.
7. Toy Story: Classic.
8. Monsters, Inc: Forgettable, but it's still fresh and fun whenever I give it a second look. I love all of the sequences with Boo and Sully.
9. Ratatouille: I'm still kind of confused as to what this movie wanted to be, but the final product is still nice to look at.
10. Cars: I'm not crazy about it, but I still find it entertaining. It feels kind of under-developed at some points...
10. Cars - Underrated but not as strong as the others in all departments. The sequel looks promising though.
9. A Bug's Life - Very well done and different but did not have the spark the others do.
8. Ratatouille - Smart, classy animation with loveable characters but probably not as fun as the others.
7. Toy Story 2 - I can't believe this isn't higher, such is the strength of Pixar's films! Just shy of being as good as the original. Writing is superb.
6. Monster's Inc - Probably the most original with the strongest running plot. Great characters too.
5. Finding Nemo - Pixar's epic possibly with the most heart.
4. The Incredibles - Nothing more exciting than those action scenes with Pixar's best villain. MAKE A FECKING SEQUEL!
3. Up - The funniest in my opinion and didn't dumb down or shy away from adult themes OR ignore the need for excitement and disbelief for children.
2. Toy Story - My childhood fave. It's a place in my heart this one!
1. Wall.E - It is more than just an animated film, it's a work of art.
1. The Incredibles - totally amazing, the story, the effects, the characters, script, love it
2. Finding Nemo - Again visually stunning. The scene where Nemo is off on the school strip and it looks at the reef is beautiful, made my jaw drop!
3. A Bugs Life - Its characters, plot and script that do it for me. Hilarious from start to finish and I love the message and how its presented.
4. Toy Story series - I do love this series but I think it's a bit too overrated. Just a little bit but its got the point where I'm sick of seeing Woody and Buzz everywhere now.
5. Monsters Inc - Something totally different in a film sense, never been done before and probably can't be done the same again
6. UP - Hilarious again. The animal characters are brilliant and I although I find the fact that an eldery man is willing to live in the middle of nowhere odd, its cute for the reason behind it
7. Rataouille - It was ok, didn't make me fall in love with it but it was enjoyable.
8. Wall.E - I turned off when watching this which normally I dont do but I actually found myself turning away from the TV and going onto Facebook so. .
9. Cars - Hate it! I can deal with talking bugs, animals and monsters in closets from a different world but talking cars! I would have preferred it if there were humans somewhere and they talked when no one was around but no they live on Earth on their own! It really bugged me lol! I like Mater and thats about it. The rest I can't stand and its way too overrated. I know its a childrens film but probably as a child I would question where the humans were
