The driver of the car was never acknowledged. I think in the initial planning a comment was made about $100 for an unlocked gate and a car waiting with a driver. Maybe a random cab, I guess.
Yes, Alice's friends stuffed the bra with the cash she needed for the plan. That was the comment about "extra padding" they made to her while visiting.
i believe the whole thing was a setup but i have no idea why, that whole scene was just too shady.
