How Hank and Darlene could free Alice
I watched this film again recently and I couldn't help but wonder how Darlene and Hank could build up a case that would help Alice get free.
It would be tough, especially since she confessed in front of a judge, (or King, I think) and both girls signed the statement, after all.
Some ways:
1.) Dig up more dirt on the crooked minister of justice (maybe with another case where something like this happened) and use it to prove that he was in on Skip Karn's dealings, and that he reneged on the deal with Hank. (as said in another thread that convo should have been taped.))
2.) Find Skip Karn--would be really hard, but who knows, maybe Hank could do it, and get him to confess...if he's caught for something much worse, he might get less time if he confesses to his crime with Alice and Darlene. I don't know, just a random thought.
3.) Find that blonde girl in HK and get her to testify. They could subpoena her, maybe, and get her to do it.
4.) The King did say that either Darlene was lying to save her friend or maybe even telling the truth, so she would be "in a position to get what she wants." So, he never found her guilty or innocent.
Just some thoughts! :)
