How often did they catch the mules?

It seems drugs are being smuggled left and right in Thailand. The Nick guy and others like him uses mules to carry the drugs and tip off the authority to catch a couple of them so the rest can make it on the plane okay. Wouldn't Thai police be arresting many people like them who are all White women carrying drugs every few months or so? The women would all say the same thing that they met some Aussie guy who bought them all plane tickets. So the Thai government and lawyers should know what's up and perhaps believe the girls and put out some warnings for all travelers. Unless Nick spread out his drug smuggling scheme so they can't catch people too often. Or the system is really corrupt.
