The title?

I know that it's the title of a Grateful Dead song, and I'm assuming that the relevance lies in the lyrics -- among them "Fare you well, fare you well / I love you more than words can tell," which can be interpreted as Alice's love, and sacrifice, for her friend -- but I'm wondering whether anyone has another take on it.

Thanks.

"All you need to start an asylum is an empty room and the right kind of people."
