I saw this movie years ago, and I remember the bug going into her ear.
I just went through the movie again, and I can't find it. Does anybody know exactly where the scene is, where you can see it crawling into her ear? I only see where she itches her ear, right before she rips the drawings up, but I don't see the roach itself....

I just watched it, and didn't see any scene like that. There is a scene of them freaking out about a cockroach in their hotel room toward the beginning, and there's a scene where she's drawing, and then the scenes you remember (though I remember her itching her ear in the scene where she's making the drawing, not the scene where she's ripping it up), but no scene showing a roach actually entering her ear. You might have imagined it. I watched it on tv, so it's possible that it's an edited version, though.
shareThat scene is still in there. It's right after Darlene and Alice friends come visit them in prison. Alice rips paper into water and falls out. Then they take her to the infirmary and the doctor took the roach out her ear.
