Craig Schwartz is NOT trapped and Dr. Lester book explanation

According to Dr. Lester if you enter in a body that's too young the person would get trapped forever, but also he could'nt take control of the body before it's 44th aniversary.
As Schwartz did take control over Malkovich earlier than the others, because he was a puppeteer, I think that makes him able to take control over Emily body later on, and as you can take from his action, while she was 7, he was still trying to take control over her, so he spend 7 years trying, maybe one day when she's close to 'ripe' he could take over her, and also prevent Dr. Lester and the others to get her.


Also, Dr. Lester book 'rule' could possible be explain by the fact that people were entering in some vessel before over and over(just like Craig and Maxine where doing for profit), until one day(precisely in it's 44th birhday), the person who entered at midnight took control of the body and create this rule.
