So Ben Affleck famously questioned Bay. But doesn't this just show that Affleck wasn't paying attention to Bay's deeply nuanced script?

After all the film specifically goes out of its way to show that Harry is the best because of his years of experience and highly developed technique.

He knows just when to thrust his piece in deeper and when to withdraw from a penetration because he isn't hitting the right spot.

How exactly is an astronaut with 0% previous experience of plunging their shaft deep down going to have concept of this feel and whether he's hitting the wrong spot?

So whilst, at surface level anyway, Affleck may have been attempting to look clever and place himself above the intellectual level of this film, he actually just looks stupid for not having a basic understanding of the main plot point of a film in which he was the lead!
