i'm just watching this movie on german television.
it's the first time i saw the beginning of the movie, where the ants enumerate and start to sing. i have no idea how the words are, since i said, it's german television and the song ist dubbed.
i'm wondering where that song is originally from. i'm guessing it's either from a western or a war-movie (patton?).
it sounds almost like ghost riders in the sky, but i think it's a different song.
please help. :)
Lol, its actually a kids song. "The ants go marching 1 by 1, hoorah, hoorah. The ants go marching 1 by 1, hoorah, hoorah. The ants go marching 1 by 1, the little one stops to suck his thumb, and the ants go marching down, around, the town, bum bum bum." This repeats by #, "go marching 2 by 2, the little one stops to tie his shoe, 3 by 3, 4 by 4, etc., until you get to 10. My daughter has a kids song CD that has this song, and I remembered from when I was a kid too.
